Summer is here! And what better way to beat the heat then to stay inside with your favorite scent. What!? You don’t have a favorite scent? Well that’s perfect, we have some of our summer favorites for you to check out.
One of the favorites here at Scents & Sprays is Salt City’s Garden Lilac. The lilac, lavender and jasmine combined, form an amazing aroma. It’s not like any other floral we have. The fragrant perfume of lilacs reminds us of that first bloom in the garden. The floral scents mingle together in perfect harmony. The Garden Lilac scent is available in the 26 oz. jar, which burns 120-140 hours. The melter tiles burn about 50-60 hours and the diffuser lasts about 1-2 months.
This is one of the best scented candles! The delicious juicy pineapple scent with just a hint of cilantro satisfies every sense. The Pineapple Cilantro frosted jar candle is the best selling fragrance by Illume. Illume is known for its vibrancy in both fragrance and color. Their candles are part soy based and are blended with essential oils. It is available in the 8.5 oz. frosted jar and also the 3×6 pillar candle . The cotton and paper-core wicks, make these clean-burning candles which have delighted and inspired for more than 10 years.
Another Summer scent we love here at Scents & Sprays is the Fiji by Archipelago. It is an exotic, sweet scent. The coconut, sugar cane and lemon leaf meld together flawlessly. If this is what Fiji smells like, then sign us up. It is available in a beautiful glass jar that burns about 60 hours. Definitely a scent you wont regret trying!
We told you some of our Summer favorites, what are yours?

Valentine’s Day has passed and Easter is right around the corner. Everywhere you look, pastel colors and Easter bunnies surround you. The family will be gathering to decorate eggs and enjoy the occasion together, so it’s time to get the home ready! What better way to do this then with your favorite scent?
Candles are the perfect way to get everyone in that warm, springtime mood. Salt City’s Pink Lemonade will add a bright, pink touch to the living room. Archipelago Monogram candles come in a variety of fragrances and are perfect as gifts. The light pastel colors are ideal for this time of year, and with the monogrammed letter on both the candle and the box, it is a great decorative piece!
My personal favorite at this time of year is Illume’s Pineapple Cilantro. The scent is extremely fruity and tropical and the beautiful green color makes my home that much brighter. Whatever fragrance you choose to have in your home, candles will create a happy environment and cause every guest who enters to ask what smells so amazing!
So this post, let’s go a little off the topic of candles: What is your family’s favorite Easter pastime? My personal favorite is when we all gather to decorate the eggs. All the nieces and nephews are there, and in the end very few eggs look professional quality. In fact, most of them are a complete mess. But then, that’s what makes it memorable.

Why does Scents & Sprays need a blog you might ask? With Spring coming up, there are so many amazing new fragrances to try out that we needed more then one way to show everyone how much we love them!
One thing we have noticed over time is that every Christmas we can’t stop smelling the Christmas tree and pumpkin scents. As soon as January hits and the Christmas buzz has died out, those scents aren’t quite as alluring as they were before. But pick up a nice floral or citrus candle, and they are starting to smell very appealing.
Let’s face it: Once the new year hits, department stores are bringing swimsuits back to the forefront and everyone is already getting ready for Spring. So this year, it might be cold and depressing outside, but that doesn’t mean it needs to feel that way inside! Try out Illume Gardenia or Trapp Lemongrass Verbena. Trust us, you will walk into a home that feels like Spring is on it’s way.
Keep an eye out for future blogs, and please feel free to comment on your own favorite Spring scent!
